Appeal: Arson investigation in Grantham

We are investigating a report of arson in Grantham which is believed to have been started at around 3pm today (28 July).

Crews from Lincolnshire Fire & Rescue were called to Mallard Court, and we were alerted to the fire just before 4.30pm.

The fire has caused significant damage to a caravan as well as nearby cars and fencing.

A 14-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of arson with intent and remains in police custody. Thankfully there have been no reported injuries.

A scene guard will remain while inquiries are carried out.

We are appealing for witnesses and anyone who may have captured CCTV, RING doorbell or dashcam footage prior to and during the incident to help progress our inquiries.
